There are several types of faux furs that we use to make our products. VELBOA - Some people refer to this faux fur as "short napped", "furry velvet" or "animal skin". The prints and a few of the solid colors have a wavy pattern to it similiar to how fur would actually grow. LUXURY MINK - Longer nap, over 1 inch long, thicker, heavier fur. MINKY - some call it a micro fleece, but it has a short nap to it, and is super soft. SILKY FLEECE - it looks like a fur, so we have it on the fur page. The naming powers to be called it a fleece....for whatever reason. It has soft wispy hairs that are about 1 inch long, and silky to touch. Faux Fur Blankies for come in two sizes; Small - 24" x 30", Medium - 36" x 48". If you want a larger size blanket than what is offered here, please go to People Blankets. Or contact us for a special size. All faux fur blankies are machine washable and dryable. Velboa, Silky and Luxury Mink Fur Blankies all need to be two layers due to the slick knit backing on the fabric. You have a choice of fleece, double the Velboa or Luxury Mink, or Minky. The Minky can be single layer, as it is soft and cozy on both sides. The maid difference between a double layer Blankie and a Mat is that the mat has a layer of 10-ounce batting sewn in, with makes it thicker.  If you are concerned about something fitting, please place the necessary measurements on the comments line of the order form. If you order the wrong size, it can easily be exchanged. Some of the very popular items are made ahead of time and kept in stock. Due to the number of custom choices we offer, most items are made by Seamstresses at the time of your order. Please allow up to 7 days for sewing. If you need an item sooner, select the RUSH option on the order form.All payments are processed through Paypal. You do not need an account with them to use your Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover Cards. Once you submit the order, you will see the line "If you do not have a Paypal account, click here to Continue" on the left of the Log In box. By clicking on the word Continue, it allows you to enter credit card information through their secure server. You should get 2 emails, one confirming the order, and another from Paypal confirming the payment.
