These coats are summer weight coats. They are NOT fleece coats. They are two layers of poly/cotton blend fabrics. Perfect for a dog in the summer that can not stand a lot of sunlight, like the Chinese Crested. Visit Dog Clothes for our new poly cotton outfits that are shirts and dresses. All dog coats are designed to have the collar either standing up to protect the neck from the sun, or folded down over the coat. If the collar is in the standing position, there is an opening for the leash to be able to attach to the dog's collar. If you use a harness on your dog, please put a note on the comments line of the order form, and a button hole opening can be placed in the dog coat. Adjustable velcro straps at the neck and stomach make the coat easy to apply. All summer weight coats are reversible, made with a design side, and a solid color coordinating lining side. Our summer weight coats are machine washable, and dryable. We have even heard of people wetting the coat down and putting it on the dog wet to help keep them cool.  There are 12 standard sizes to choose from, ranging from 5" back length to 37" back length. Custom made coats with
your dog's specific measurements are not a problem, order the coat that is closest to the length of your dog's back
and be sure and put his or her measurements on the comments line of the order form, and we will adapt the coat to fit.
