What a fashion statement! Take a walk on the wild side! Keep your dog warm and in style at the same time.

We offer a wide range of "faux fur" fabrics to chose from. Not all are animal print, there are solid colors and even a faux fur camoflauge! If you like the coat your dog is going to be wearing, be sure and visit People Outerwear for a matching vest, jacket or coat to really make a fashion statement.

All dog coats are designed to have the collar either standing up to keep the neck warm and dry, or folded down over the coat. If the collar is in the standing position, there is an opening for the leash to be able to attach to the dog's collar. If you use a harness on your dog, please put a note on the comments line of the order form, and a button hole opening can be placed in the dog coat.

Adjustable velcro straps at the neck and stomach make the coat easy to apply. There are 12 standard sizes to choose from, ranging from 5" back length to 37" back length. Custom made coats with your dog's specific measurements are not a problem.

There are several types of faux furs that we use to make products.

VELBOA - Some people refer to this faux fur as "short napped", "furry velvet" or "animal skin". The prints and a few of the solid colors have a wavy pattern to it similiar to how fur would actually grow. This faux fur is extremely durable, machine washable and dryable.

LUXURY MINK - Longer nap, over 1 inch long, thicker, heavier fur.

MINKY - some call it a micro fleece, but it has a short nap to it, and is super soft.

SILKY FLEECE - it looks like a fur, so we have it on the fur page. The naming powers to be called it a fleece....for whatever reason. It has soft wispy hairs that are about 1 inch long, and silky to touch.

All faux fur coats are machine washable and dryable. Coats are made with one layer of faux fur and a lining made of either fleece or MINKY.

Minky is a bit more expensive, but the softness is well worth it. It has a short nap to it which makes it more like a fur, but some people call it a micro fleece.

If you would prefer the lining to be made of satin, put this on the comments line of the order form. If this is a popular request, we will add it to the order forms in the future.

If you really want a classy look, you can order your faux fur coat with a removable boa color. On the order form, this option is on the bottom of the form, along with optional boa collar.

If you are concerned about something fitting, please place the necessary measurements on the comments line of the order form. If you order the wrong size, it can easily be exchanged.

All payments are processed through Paypal. You do not need an account with them to use your Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover Cards. Once you submit the order, you will see the line "If you do not have a Paypal account, click here to Continue" on the left of the Log In box. By clicking on the word Continue, it allows you to enter credit card information through their secure server. You should get 2 emails, one confirming the order, and another from Paypal confirming the payment.
