These coats made out of synthetic chamois. They are used a lot by show dogs that are waiting to be judged at outside dog shows, and dogs participating in agility events. It is a great way to cool them down, and keep them looking great for the judges. Get the coat wet, wring out some water but not all, put the coat on the dog, all most if not all of the water stays in the chamois. Do not lay a wet coolant coat down on newspaper or something similar....it will absorb the ink.
Adjustable velcro straps at the neck and stomach make the coat easy to apply. Keep in mind the colors offered are more of a pastel shade of the color. There are 12 standard sizes to choose from, ranging from 5" back length to 37" back length. Custom made coats with your dog's specific measurements are not a problem, order the coat that is closest to the length of your dog's back and be sure and put his or her measurements on the comments line of the order form, and we will adapt the coat to fit. If you order the wrong size, it can easily be exchanged. Some of the very popular items are made ahead of time and kept in stock. Due to the number of custom choices we offer, most items are made by Seamstresses at the time of your order. Please allow up to 7 days for sewing.
